Health Net’s New Incentive Program

Health Net has a NEW broker incentive program for new business effective dates of October 2022 through January 2023!

California Health Insurance Updates

1. Pharmacy Data Collection Reporting
Effective 12/27/2022, health plans will need to report on Pharmacy Data for calendar years 2020 and 2021. By 6/1/2023, they will have to report for 2022. This data is only available from the insurance carrier, TPA or PBM. Fully insured carriers will report but may request the employer to sign forms.

2. Inflation Reduction Act
This insulin expansion is just a regulatory codification of a prior expansion under IRS Notice 2019-45, which was optional and now will be part of the IRS Code. The cost at the pharmacy counter will change for some before the deductible.

3. Compliance Assessment/Audit Documents
Compliance Assessments or Audits should be done with your clients at least every 2 years with an update annually. We have a compliance checklist and compliance audit discovery document to help with the process.
