Employer’s Guide to ACA Reporting: 2021 Forms and Instructions

We have a new guide to share that contains information on the IRS’ Draft Proposed Rule that, among other things, permanently provides an automatic 30-day extension of the deadline for ALEs to furnish Forms 1095-C to individuals. This guide is of interest to employers with 50 or more full-time equivalent employees and employers of any size with self-insured plans. Employers should be prepared to respond to IRS Employer Shared Responsibility Provision (ESRP) penalty letters and continue to prepare for 2021 reporting, which will occur in the first quarter of 2022.
