Health Net Broker Incentive Program for 2021

Health Net has a broker incentive program to help you earn more. Groups with effective dates now, through December 1, 2021 are eligible.
Broker business sold through GAs qualify for the bonus!
  • Only new Small Group plans are eligible for the incentive program
  • Additional 1% supplemental compensation award for each new eligible Small Group sold
  • Payable for the first 12 months of a new eligible Health Net group contract

American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 COBRA Premium Subsidy

Health Net previously shared information regarding the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. They wanted to give some clarification that ARPA eligibility is limited to Cal-COBRA members who are currently in a Cal-COBRA plan or are within their election period 60 days from the loss of group health coverage. Health Net will be mailing Cal-COBRA members additional information about ARPA.

Anthem’s Broker Incentive Program

Anthem’s broker incentive program runs from September 2021 through January 2022. Here’s what you can earn:

Sell Medical effective 9/1/21 or 9/15/2021: You’ll earn:
Medical group (5+ enrolled employees) 7% commission for the life of the case

 

Sell Medical effective 10/1/21 thru 1/15/2022: You’ll earn:
Medical group (10+ enrolled employees) 6% commission for the life of the case

 

Sell Specialty effective 9/1/21 thru 1/15/2022: Per enrolled contract you’ll earn:
Dental $10
Vision $5
Life $2
Long-term Disability $2
Short-term Disability $2

Senate Democrats’ Plan Boost Spending On Medicare, ACA and Long-Term Care

More Than 2 Million Americans Sign Up For ACA Under Special Enrollment Period

More than 2 million Americans have signed up for 2021 coverage during a special enrollment period on ACA federal and state exchanges, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced Wednesday. 1.5 million people have signed up on the federal exchange, healthcare.gov, while more than 600,000 have selected policies in the 14 states and the District of Columbia that run their own exchanges.
